Chapter 27 - Processing A Seller's Progress Report

Batch Marketing Icon

  • Can enter a single marketing activity for multiple (i.e., selected) properties
  • Navigation:  Pro Gold XP Main Menu=> Properties Tab=> Batch Marketing Icon
  • Typical use of this icon is for ad events (Setup ad runs for publications)
  • Ad copy should be entered in the same number ad window in the Work With Properties=> Marketing Tab (i.e., Ad One, Ad Two and Ad Three) For example:
    • Place feature ads in Ad One field
    • Place classified ads in Ad Two field
    • Place general ads in Ad Three field
  • Enter event data:
    • Date Run:  Enter the actual date the ad is to be published
    • Activity:  Select activity (e.g., Placed Ad)
    • Media:  Select appropriate media from drop down box (e.g., The Grand Rapids Press, etc...)
    • Cost: Enter cost if charging agent or for tracking total cost in property
    • Enter Ad # to use:  from the Work With Properties=> Marketing Tab
    • Notes:  Enter as needed
  • Filter By options
    • When all filters are set to “All” all properties with a “Listed” status display
    • Can use filters to narrow down the list
    • 1st Column is property type
    • 2nd Column is past activity
    • 3rd column  is activity
    • 4th column is media
    • 5th Column is number of days
    • Click Refresh button to execute filter settings (narrow down the list)
  • Select properties (Enter check in box for each property to include in the run)
  • Select Post Activity button to enter transactions
    • Select Yes when prompted: You are about to post x transactions. Are you sure?
    • Select   “Do you wish to apply charges to agent invoices?”
    • Select Ok to “Finished Charging agents prompt”
    • Click Done to close Batch Marketing Icon
