Chapter 27 - Processing A Seller's Progress Report 
Marketing Tab Data
                  Must enter a  check mark in the Mark Active for  Marketing block 
                  The Marketing Tab records the  inbound/outbound activity for a Seller  Progress Report (Letter)
                  Inbound activity 
           
                 
                  - Call Events:   Typically entered through the Work With Prospects Icon in Prospects Tab
- Showing Events: 
- System will  automatically populate a s showing event for items entered via the Showings Tab of the listing’s property  record
- if Showing Tab is not used, events must be  entered directly via the Marketing Tab of  the listing’s property record 
- Non Call:  Entered directly via the Marketing Tab of the property record
Outbound  activity:  Entered directly via the Marketing Tab of the property record
                  Must setup  activity and media type entries (See Sample  Marketing Tab on next page)  - Add items to  activity list by inserting mouse  pointer in an activity field and double clicking left mouse button:
- Brings up Action Types entry screen
- Select "New" to create new activity and  "Done" to save it
- Can replace an  entry by renaming it
- Entries are  displayed alphabetically
    - Add items to  media list by inserting mouse  pointer in a media field and double clicking left mouse button or select Add New Media button:
- Brings up Media Types entry screen:
- Select "New" to create new activity and  "Done" to save it
- Can replace an  entry by renaming it
- Entries are  displayed alphabetically
Enter activities    
               - Enter date of  transaction
- Select activity  type
- Select media  type
- Enter any notes  for transaction (Note entries are  normally displayed on the Progress Letter, but can be hidden by inserting an  asterisk  [i.e., *] at the  beginning of the note field for that transaction)
A set of default  activities should be entered into the software for each property type (e.g.,  residential, vacant land, etc...) in order to make the Sellers' Progress Reports as  accurate as possible for the initial issuance.   Be sure to list advertisements and Internet sites as applicable.   (See Appendix J-1)
